Brecon county show
A huge show with more things to see and do than you would normally find at a 1 day event. A very full program of arena events, delayed the first stunt performance by 2 hours, however when Ryan and James finally got into the arena  the crowd where suitably warmed up and responded when neccesary with clapping and cheering and really made the riders feel welcome in the scenic welsh location.  Once again the boys jumped over a tractor during the second of the 2 performances, however for the first time ever, Ryans twin daughters also appeared in the show on their 50cc bikes.

North longsdale agricultural show ,Cumbria
A mid week visit to Cumbria, saw the team mobbed by thousands of spectators at the agricultural show near Ulverston in the lake district.    Ryan and James ended up jumping over a big John Deer tractor, to the enjoyment of the local farmers and  enthusiastic show going public, who were not even the slightest bit put off by the torrential rain showers that blighted the day.

Middfest
Middfest took place in the district of middleton in manchester, and allthough the weather wasnt at its best,  the team from 96.2 The Revolution radio station kept the crowd entertained untill Ryan and James burst on to the arena.  Big Al from the radios morning show even supplied his car for the team to jump over,  and then promptly plastered the pictures all over the radio stations  website.

Stowmarket carnival
Ryan and James returned to stowmarket carnival, and found that the show had become bigger and better since they last appeared there back in 2006. The night time concert and fair on the friday night was very popular with the local residents, and was also enjoyed by The flyin Ryan Stunt Show aswell.
Also in the main arena, was the fantasticly strong Amanda and Tony brutus, with there amazing feats of strength, aswell as a very energetic local karate display.

Bedfordshire county show
A fantastic show held in the picturesque setting of Old Warden Park in bedfordshire, was once again very well supported by the show going public,  despite the event  being  held on the same weekend as the British motor racing grand prix at silverstone.
Ryan and James really enjoyed this event, and despite a few small problems throughout the weekend they put on a great performance.
Ryan had a lucky escape on the saturday, when his rear wheel collaspsed due to the impact on the baked hard arena surface, fortunatly he felt there was  something wrong with the machine and stopped and using that bike before there was a serious problem. Instead, he used James bike to complete his routine of wheelie tricks.

Market Bosworth show
The historic venue of market bosworth held its local show 4th july. The arena acts consisted mainly of Dog acts, however there was also an excellent parade of vintage tractors.
Ryan and James where forced to change the second of their performances due to machinery trouble. Ryans crf450, suffered a broken exhaust bracket during the second show, and whilst it was being hastily repaired, Jumpin James stole the show by jumping over a huge fire engine one handed.  Once Ryans machine had been temporarily repaired, Ryan jumped over a huge army troop carrier lorry.

Lockerbie, Riding of marches
The Riding of Marches, at Lockerbie took place on 12th june.  A far from flat arena greeted the team upon there arrival in the well known scottish town,  however, due to their motocross racing background Ryan and James found the smoothest areas to land their big jumps and  easily managed to entertain the  thirsty  scottish audience.

Thirlstane Castle, Lauder

The Borders Vintage Automobile Club, held its historic motoring extravaganza, at a picturesque, but wet Thirlstane castle. The variety of vehicles was amazing, with everything you could imagine from ferraris to fire engines. Ryan and James took full advantage of this and were lucky enough to have a full line up of rally cars to jump over which were  supplied and driven by the Border Ecosse Car Club. First car to be put under the ramp was a rare metro 6R4, followed by a mini,  a Talbot sunbeam, a citroen saxo, a honda,  a peugoet, and a mk 1 escort. The engines roared almost as loud as the crowd, as James and Ryan jumped over them.
For the second show, some fire engines appeared in the arena, and firstly James jumped over a fire engine, Ryan didnt want to be out done, so he jumped over 2,  however plans to jump a third were scuppered when it got stuck in the mud.

Abergavenny steam and vintage show  may 30th, 31st 2010

A bank holiday weekend in wales has in recent years been a wet affair, but not in may 2010.  The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt show , performed at the steam and vintage show at bailey park in sunny Abergavenny on sunday and monday 30th and 31st of may, in bright sunshine and to a packed out showground.
Officially the first proper outing of the year for the whole team, it was a great success.
James wowed the crowds with his new skills learnt during the winter, whilst racing motocross. And Ryan carried on where he left off ,Jumping multiples of cars, and steam engines, (2 steam engines in fact).
Bombin Becky detonated her enormous explosion on sunday,  which shook the nearby town, but impressed the audience so much that they  all rushed back to see it again on the monday.

2010
A new year is upon us,  and we are looking forward to the new show season.  Some changes have been made to the stunt show  as it develops and the junior members get older and more capable.  Jumpin James has proven over the last couple of years that he can live up to his name,  and will be looking match Flyin Ryans jumps this year.  Ryans daughters will hopefully also be joining the team this year as riders,  however they will not be jumping over the main ramps just yet.
So far  bookings have been confirmed for venues all over the UK, including return trips to Pitcorthie, and Biggleswade,  as well as first time appearances in Lauder, and Lockerbie.
A full list of dates and venues will be posted as soon as all the contracts are returned.

Brecon county show 2010
after last years cancelled event,  we are pleased have been rebooked to appear at this popular welsh show.  heavy rain caused the show to be cancelled in 2009,  but better weather has been ordered for the coming year.

  WESTON SUPER MARE  BEACH RACE.
Ryan has raced the weston super mare  beach race, many times, but this was to be James first race at the world famous event.    Ryan had also made plans to try for another long flatlanding jump on the beach,  however,  things didnt go as planned ,   unfortunately,  the record jump had to be postponed, due to inncorrect information from world record bodies.  Ryan and james did perform a show,  but this was a very difficult area to work in, and the P.A. system could not be heard by the thousands of spectators.
however 2 new team members were performing at weston with us  and did very well,  farmer Tom,  rode his farm quad,  pulling wheelies and 2 wheel riding,  and Lee(the stig) munday,  helped perform the human ramp trick,  and got dragged around behind the quad.
The race was stopped after 1 lap in,  due to a massive pile up on the start straight, and  as so many riders  where badly injured,  the race was cancelled.
James has vowed to race next year,  even if he has to pay his own entry fee.!!!

COPDOCK MOTORCYCLE SHOW, IPSWICH ,  OCTOBER 4TH

Fantastic weather and a large crowd of bike riders and non bike riders  attended this well set out and freindly show.  Ryan and James  had a huge arena to perform in  and made full use of it,  jumping over  a pick up truck,  many times.  For the second show, james decieded to jump the truck longways,  and jumped a massive 6 pick up  truck lengths.

SOUTHEAST BIKERFEST
Brighton racecourse was a great venue for a bike festival,  and with thousands of bikers decending on Brighton for the speed trials, on Madeira Drive,  it should have been a huge event.  But, nobody came !!
The main arena was tarmac, and very small, however the various stunt teams worked together, and put on some fantastic shows. The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show performed both days   along with  Eastcoast FMX, who performed freestyle tricks over their huge mobile ramp set up, and  on sunday Jez Avery, (who is a very funny man)  jumped over cars on  his trials machines.

PETERLEE SHOW
A varied line up of events appeared in the main arena at Peterlee show. the world famous "headbalancer" John Evans, balanced many things on his head,  including a full size, working quad bike.  The Rockin horse stunt team,  were, as always, fantastic with their mix of horses and stunts.
Ryan and James,  jumped an ambulance, Jumpin jumped over 8 widths of the vehicle , and Flyin attempted 12, however,  a gust of wind made the jump very close, and it looked like Ryan had hit the ambulace on his way down !!!!     BUT on closer inspection, no damage had been done to the ambulance,  so Flyin Ryan did the jump again, and flew well over the vehicle  landed and stopped safely within the arena confines.

WEST WALES MOTORCYCLE SHOW

Rain, rain, rain,  but that didnt deter the motorcycling community turning up for this charity bike event.  The falconry display couldn't perform in the rain,  neither could the gun dog display,  however Ryan and James took great pleasure in performing in the waterlogged arena. The crowds where suitably impressed with the off road skills demonstrated, and a good day was made even better by the eventual appearance of the sun.

RIVER JUMP OFF
Due to a wrist injury, sustained whilst jumping over 140ft, Flyin Ryan, has regrettably had to withdraw from the great river aire jump set for September 2nd.
No other events will be affected

GEOFF CHALONER.   THE WHEELIE KING
All of us here at the Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show, are very sad about the passing of Geoff Chaloner, who died on saturday 15th August.  Geoff had performed with us at santa pod, and also Delapre Abbey during 2009, and was scheduled to appear with us again in September at Brighton racecourse.
Geoff  was the UK's best wheelie performer, as well as a fantastic guy, and he will be greatly missed by everyone .   RIP Geoff Chaloner, The wheelie king

August 15th Pitcorthie gala
Terrible weather and a waterlogged arena, didn't stop Ryan and James from performing at Pitcorthie Gala in Dumfermline. A smaller than usual crowd were treated to jumps over a vehicle supplied by the local garage. The arena was in places an inch deep with water, but James still jumped over 6 cars widths, and sprayed Ryan with mud in the process. Ryan took over where James left off and cleared an even bigger distance, much to the delight of the public and the organisational team.

september 2nd 2009
Ryan plans to jump the river "Aire"  in yorkshire,   its a 150ft jump over the river,  to a flat landing.

watch this space for more details,   or the face book page.

DAGENHAM TOWN SHOW
The 18th of July, the team ventured into the lower emmision zone in London.
the Dagenham town show had a varied array of performers, including "the mighty smith"  ex britains strongest man.
Ryan and James had to be content with a golf buggy to jump, but they managed it with ease.  The bravest member of the team was Bombin Becky who felt rather vunerable in an open vehicle with no doors and a plastic roof.  But as usual, there was no need to worry as they both jumped the buggy with room to spare.

BEDFORDSHIRE COUNTY SHOW
A 2 day show at old warden park near Biggleswade, which is also home to the shuttleworth collection of historic aeroplanes. Ryan and James enjoyed fantastic support from the crowd, probably the loudest cheering crowd of the year so far,  and on Saturday they both jumped over 4x4 vehicles. on Sunday Ryan was given a steam engine to jump as well, which made the audience a little nervous, untill he sailed over the top,  one handed.

Annan Riding of Marches July 4th 2009
The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show performed at this event in 2008 in torrential rain however due to the small turnout because of the weather the organisers felt that the show was too good to be missed by the usual thousands of spectators, and invited us back to hopefully perform in dry weather.
The weather was good this year and despite a blow out on the team transporter on the way to the event 2009 was a complete success. The entertainment got underway with the fantastic Bozo and Zizi followed by The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show, james jumped over the equivalent of 7 cars and then Ryan added a pink stretched hummer limo supplied by Dumfrieslimo.com. You can see the pictures on the Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show facebook fan page or click on the link in the left hand menu links page.

Brocklesby Country Fair June 28th 2009
The Brocklesby Country Fair was a really busy and big show with lots of people and lots to see and do! The weather was great, the arena crowd was full and enthusiastic and wasn't deterred by a slight shower during the second of our performances, Hatfield Jaguar supplied a brand new Jaguar for Ryan and James to jump over which they did with the usual style and grace. james jumped 7 cars easily and Ryan performed some huge wheelies on the mini bike.

World record jump attempt,  Delapre Abbey, Northampton  May 30th 2009
On May 30th 2009, Flyin Ryan attempted to break the world record for the longest jump to a flat landing  during the course of the day Ryan made approximately 50 jumps over the modified show ramp the longer ramp wasn't as steep as usual but still threw Ryan up to 40 ft in the air, many alterations were made and the last jump of the day was 142ft to a flat landing. We are still waiting for confirmation of the current record holder and to see if Ryan has broken the record. The attempt took place at picturesque Delapre Abbey, in Northampton.
Thanks to  FRO systems for their support,

Border City Steam Fair, Carlisle 23rd, 24th, 25th May 2009
The first ever Border City Steam Fair at Rickerby Park, Carlisle was a huge success, not just for The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show but for the organisers and everyone who attended, a brilliant line up of classsic vehicles, steam engines, trade stands, live music and dance displays and a beer tent that stayed open til midnight. Ryan jumped over a varied array of steam engines and vehicles including a pink stretched Hummer Limo, a vintage lorry, Hunslet the Steam Engine and Ayesha the steam Roller. James is improving each time he performs and jumped completely over the top of over a volkswagon caddy van placed more than 21ft away from his take off ramp, he also jumped over a lorry and performed some improved wheelies.

Monster Monday Santa Pod 4th May 2009
The Flyin Ryan motorcycle Stunt Show's second outing of the year was at Santa Pod on May 4th. A cluttered arena full of crushed cars and monster truck ramps and based on tarmac meant that Ryan and James couldn't perform their usual huge leaps due to fear of smashing their expensive Talon wheels. not wanting to short change the public Ryan drafted in the UK's leading wheelie specialist Geoff Chaloner who added a different wheelie element to the show for this one off event. Also guest appearing was Mark 'stuntman' Stannage who performed a spectacular fire run from one end of the tarmac arena to the other.

Arena Essex  monster truck nationals

A good crowd attended the Monster Truck Nationals at arena essex on 18th april. Ryan and James signed lots of posters and chatted to loads of excited children and adults, during the "pit party".
James jumped over his new ramp for the first time on the saturday afternoon, and then went on to jump a  landrover, during the show,  which ended up being moved out to the equivelent of 6 landrovers, and James cleared the distance with room to spare..
Ryan Jumped side by side with James as the new ramp set up allows this, and some fantastic shots of the event will be put in the gallery as soon as possible.

As Flyin Ryans first public show of the year on April 18th at Arena Essex, approaches, some changes to the show , have had to be made.
Jumpin James has now reached the age of 15, and due to growing in size, he has had to move from a 85cc to a bigger 250cc machine.   As a result, James's part in the show has had to be changed.
A new ramp has been constructed and will be used alongside the main ramp, hopefully to great effect by Ryan and James.
The new ramp set up will be used for the first time at the april 18th event.

2009 show dates are now on the EVENTS page.

WILD N WOOLLY SCRAMBLE, BOXING DAY

Ryan won the Wild and Woolly Scramble on Boxing day for the 9th time. A full race report can be found on the Northampton Motorcyclists Club website www.nmcc.co.uk

WILD N  WOOLLY FAST APPROACHING

Held by The Northampton Motorcyclist Club at Arm Farm, off the old A43 between Blisworth and Milton Malsor.  The Wild N Woolly started off as just some like minded locals riding their motorcycles around a field on Boxing Day (approx 1925). Each year more and more riders took part and in 1932 the wives and mothers of the club riders donated a cup for the winning rider.  The Ladies Cup has been presented to the winner every year since then with only the war years and foot and mouth in 1967 not holding an event. Until 1990 the event was held at Tunnel Hill Farm in Blisworth on the fields above the Blisworth canal tunnel.  During the 90's the race was held at Plainwoods Farm and Milton Malsor.  The water sections at Milton Malsor were man made with possibly the UK's only aqua whoops (just like normal whoops but filled with water!).  Since 2000 the event has been held at Arm Farm, Blisworth, the track is situated off the old A43 just before Blisworth.  The track consists of 4 river crossings, an old railway embankment and ridge and furrow fields.

Flyin Ryan won this prestigious motocross race in 1995, 1996, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, and in 2006 for a record breaking 8th time!  He will be competing again this Boxing Day.

ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN

As Halloween approaches all of us here at The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show think back to 2004 when Ryan tried to break the World Record for jumping the furthest ever on a motorcycle. The crash was recently featured in an episode of 'Strutter' on MTV. If you go on youtube and type in Flyin Ryan crash 2004 you can relive the event all over again!

WESTON SUPERMARE BEACH RACE OCTOBER 11TH AND 12TH 2008

Ryan once again rode at Weston Supermare Beach Race this year. The UKs biggest off road race took place at Weston Supermare on 11th and 12th October, Flyin Ryan and Crash Mattl both raced in aid of Childrens Cancer Care, Leicester Royal Infirmary.  The three hour race had over 1100 riders all thundering down the beach together around the 3 mile beach course with man made obstacles as big as houses. Ryan got a fantastic start and led momentarily up the start straight and rounded the first corner in third spot and eventually finished up 32nd after 3 hours of riding.  Crash Matt unfortunately siezed his machine after only a lap and a half but was still credited with 891st spot. 10 times World Champion Stefan Everts won the event.

AUGUST 24TH AND 25TH 2008 CAERPHILLY BIG BALLOON FESTIVAL

The torrential rain leading up to this event did not deter the crowds from turning out and a great show was put on.  Flyin Ryan and Jumpin James both flew higher than any hot air balloons due to the adverse weather conditions.

AUGUST 19TH CROMER CARNIVAL FAMILY DAY

With the arena set on top of the cliff,  wind and rain were the order of the day at Cromer.  At this fantastically organised show, an enthusiastic crowd made up of holidaymakers and locals alike witnessed Flyin Ryan and Jumpin James performing huge jumps over cars regardles of the british summer conditions.  Up to gale force winds couldn't deter James from jumping completely over 3 cars lengths one handed, much to the audiences delight. Ryan responded by jumping even further however almost came to grief by missing a gear during a massive 7 car length jump but went on to clear more, leaving the audience astounded.

AUGUST 17TH MACCLESFIELD FAMILY FUN DAY

After a very wet Saturday night  (which didn't put the Lulu fans off), Sunday dawned cloudy but dry in Macclesfield and The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show opened the arena attractions for this popular family fun day's 25 year anniversary show, the arena was a little slippy and also confined due to so many top class acts performing, however Ryan and James performed the biggest jumps of the day and stunned the audience with the pyrotechnic jump of death.

JULY 6TH WRANGLE, LINCOLNSHIRE

After an overnight drive from Annan across the A66 and down the A1 The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show arrived at Wrangle Show on the A52 between Boston and Skegness.  The morning was bright and sunny but was soon plagued by the inevitable July showers, with pipe bands, carriage driving and school sports this was a traditional town show. The Flyin Ryan Stunt Show was received fantastically with many of the crowd in awe of the motorcycle stunts performed, Jumpin James performed his best wheelies this year managing to wheelie his 85cc 2 stroke machine halfway across the oval shaped arena.  Flyin Ryan responded by jumping 10 cars in the smaller than usual arena, and James followed on by jumping lengthways over a huge Rover 820. The show ended in a fantastic 50/60ft fireball with Bombin Becky making up for her lack of fire in Annan.

JULY 5TH  ANNAN, SCOTTISH BORDERS

The traditional Annan Riding of Marches took place on 5th of July in the picturesque scottish border town of Annan, sporadic rain showers played havoc with the other main arena entertainment who both only managed to perform 1 show but The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show wowed the crowd during two full different 30 minute shows.  Jumpin James performing one handed jumps completely over the top of an MG motor car and Flyin Ryan jumping the same MG car 11 times each one a cars width further than the last.  Bombin Becky's pyrotechnic finale failed to go as planned due to the unfortunately wet weather conditions which resulted in a much smaller than usual explosion.

June 28 .         Lonehead, Scotland.

Loanhead gala was  a great success on June 28. Beautiful weather and an excellent turnout, made for a great show.
Ryan and James both jumped over a nissan note supplied by A.S.NOBLE&SONS.
and the community spirit was very noticable due to the fantastic decorations throughout the town.

Foire de Jersey

The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show , Travelled to Jersey for the Foire de Jersey held on May 24,25,26.
A fantastic time was had by all at this event, despite the unpredictability of the weather.  On the saturday afternoon the heavens opened about 5 mins into the performance,  but this didnt deter Jumpin James, or Flyin Ryan from performing some huge jumps and  this  encouraged the crowd to stay just that little bit longer.
James jumped further and higher than ever before , with his new ramp. And not only jumped completely over 2 cars length ways, but did it 1 handed.
Bombin Becky was lucky to escape injury, as she fell over whilst being chased by Ryan and his bike, and was nearly used as a bike rack. However she got her own back as usual when she blew Ryan up with her pyrotechnic charges.Fortunately Flyin Ryan had taken the neccassary precautions and was unharmed.

MALLORY PARK MXGP PRESS DAY 11 APRIL 2008

Flyin Ryan was privileged to be one of only 30 people to be invited to ride part of the new MXGP circuit being constructed at Mallory Park in readiness for the British Grand Prix on June 1 2008.

Riding a small section of the track along with Grand Prix aces Billy Mackenzie, Tommy Searle, Tom Church and American legend Mike Brown, Ryan tested all of the double jumps and table top jumps that have been constructed so far and found them to his liking.

"A motocross GP is a truly fantastic spectacle that should be witnessed by anybody that likes motorcycles, this Grand Prix at Mallory Park will be something special and the new track should make for fantastic racing"

MCN SCOTTISH MOTORCYCLE SHOW

Flyin Ryan , Jumpin James, and Crash Matt performed at Ingliston showground in Edinburgh on 8th+9th march. Torrential rain and strong winds on saturday couldn't stop Ryan and James from entertaining the crowds at the MCN show, Sunday was better weather, and this allowed Jumpin James to show off his new found freestyle abilitys, and try out his new bigger ramp. Car jumps over brand new HONDA cars in very wet conditions proved no problem for Ryan or James however Crash Matt once again tasted the mud , but this time whilst wheelying the thumpstar.

THE MAIN EVENT

The main event, The Wild and Woolly on Boxing Day 2007 did not go as Ryan planned after leading the race up to half distance Ryan made a couple of uncharacteristic mistakes during this mudbath and ended up finishing 2nd to multiple British champion and current over 35 cross country Champion Richard Main.  The most exciting event in recent years kept the 3000+ crowd on their toes throughout the entire hour long race. This oldest race in the world also raised thousands of pounds for local charities, a full report and pictures can be found on www.nmcc.c.o.uk

DAREDEVIL EVEL KNIEVEL DIES

All of us here at The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show were saddened to learn of the death of daredevil stuntman Evel Knievel on Friday 30 November 2007.  Evel Knievel was not only a legend but an icon and will never be replaced.  Ryan appeared Live on Sky News on Saturday morning to pay tribute to the great man.

LONG WAY DOWN PARTY (BATTERSEA)

On Thursday November 8th Flyin Ryan, Bombin Becky and Crash Matt performed a night time show in the car park of Battersea Evolution in London, for The Long Way Down Charity Party and Auction in aid of Unicef.  Many celebrities attended the £500 per head charity bash, including the shows stars Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman.
Ryan and Matt performed wheelies and jumps whilst the VIP's arrived and Becky lit up the arena with sparks and smoke pyrotechnics.  Other guests included Simon Pegg, Charlene Spitteri, Jamiroquai and James Nesbitt.

 WESTON SUPERMARE DISASTER 2007

After a really good start at this years weston supermare beach race, Ryan rounded the first corner well inside the top ten.  After only a few slight problems on the first lap, Ryan started his second lap still inside the top fifteen.  However whilst half way round his second lap Ryan made a small mistake on an easy corner and broke his clutch lever clean off.  Unable to complete the rest of that lap he managed to get his bike back to the pit area where Dangerous Doug fitted a new lever, unfortunately by the time the repair was completed Ryan had lost 3 more laps leaving him 4 laps down on the leaders.  However Ryan rejoined the race to complete 10 laps and end up 176th out of over a 1000 riders.  Very disappointing but lets hope for better luck next year!! Anyone wishing to sponsor Ryan for next years race can contact him via our contact page.

TRUCKFEST NORTHWEST, HAYDOCK PARK

Jumpin James made a triumphant return to action at Haydock Park on 15th and 16th September after having his cast removed two days before the event. He performed his usual stunts with no problems from his wrist or the tarmac arena.

The unusual arena surface meant Ryan had to scale down his jumps for fear of breaking his toughened talon wheels, Ryan still jumped 8 cars with room to spare and the crowd cheered the loudest of any crowd this year. .

CHIGWELL SHOW

Flyin Ryan and Crash Matt performed in Essex on 1and 2 September, Cash Matt lived up to his name whilst riding the injured James' 85cc Honda and wearing his evil ken weasel costume, Matt crashed whilst warming up on the Sunday, a slight loss of traction resulted in Matt having a small low speed crash in a lonely corner of the arena and eating grass.

ZIP WIRES ARE DANGEROUS

Jumpin James broke his wrist whilst playing in the woods on a homemade zipwire proving that no matter what dangerous activities you participate in and no matter how many precautions you take, injury is often just around the corner! Fortunately he should be mended in time for Truckfest Northwest at Haydock Park on 15 and 16 September!

FLYIN RYAN AND CRASH MATT TO APPEAR AT CHIGWELL SHOW

Following Jumpin James' off bike incident, Crash Matt will come out of retirement to perform with Flyin Ryan at The Chigwell Show in Essex on 1 and 2 September. His first riding performance since breaking his back in 2005, Matt will ride the mini bike and attempt the daring double crossover jump with Ryan. Will he survive or live up to his nickname? Come to the show to find out.

SUN SHINES IN MIDDLESBOROUGH

The sun shone brightly on the hottest day of the year at the lovely Pallister Park in Middlesborough on Sunday 5 August, there was a big crowd at this free local family fun day  and despite the crowds relunctance to join in with chants to spur James on, he still bow-chicca-wow wowed them with wheelies and jumps. The mini quadard proved once again that it is of no use to anyone by stalling within 30 seconds of its first appearance, and the thumpstar developed a mind of its own and decided to wheelie in a circle instead of in a straight line.

FANTASTIC EVENT AT SILLOTH KITE FESTIVAL

Flyin Ryan, Jumpin James, Bombin Becky and Crash Matt lit up Silloth Kite Festival in Cumbria on the 28th and 29th July. Bombin Becky's explosions rattled the windows around the village green and surrounded the arena with cheers from the enthusiastic show goers in this quiet, picturesque coastal resort. Flyin Ryan and Jumpin James performed some spectacular wheelies beside and below snakes, fish and jelly babies on a stick and the crowds were treated to awesome aerial displays by both motorcycles and these superb kites. The most relaxed and friendliest show that The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show has ever attended if you are ever in the Lake District put Silloth on your list of places to visit.

IT'S ALL GO WITH A MOTORCYCLE STUNT SHOW!

The last few weeks have been very busy with trips to Yorkshire, a local show in Rushden, Northants followed by a trip to Scotland overnight for the BMF Bikefest at Kelso. The weather has caused a few problems, we got soaked in Yorkshire during a performance and you can see the rain on the photos in our new 2007 gallery, the main arena had to be moved from its usual place at Kelso due to heavy rain, however this wasn't a problem for our stunt riders as when we were there on the Sunday, it was baking hot sunshine!

BROMLEY PAGEANT OF MOTORING

Pouring rain and a very slippery main arena proved no problem for The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show in Bromley. The main attraction in the arena in the afternoon was Ryan soaring over a Stretched Hummer Limo supplied by Hummerheaven.co.uk. Look out for the pictures in our new 2007 gallery!

YORKSHIRE TRUCKING SPECTACULAR AT DRIFFIELD

Despite the recent wet conditions across Yorkshire, The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show performed an excellent main arena stunt display in good weather at The Yorkshire Trucking Spectacular. Jumpin James jumped over a tricked out Escort van and Flyin Ryan flew over a fleet of monster trucks.

Don't Forget to check out James' site: jumpinjames.co.uk

BEAUTIFUL SUNSHINE AT TRUCKFEST SOUTHEAST

A brilliant time was had by all who attended Truckfest Southeast in sunny Kent on 2nd and 3rd June.  Big crowds were very enthusiastic and joined in loudly with various amusing chants to spur on Jumpin James as he performed a huge jump over mini bikes. The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show really enjoyed performing there and look forward to appearing at another truck show, The Yorkshire Trucking Spectacular in Driffield on 16th and 17th June.

SWANSEA COUNTY SHOW A GREAT SUCCESS

Despite torrential rain in Swansea on Sunday, The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show consisting of Flyin Ryan, Jumpin James, Bombin Becky and Crash Matt performed fantastically to wow the small but enthusiatic crowd that had gathered on what was the wettest weekend of the year so far. Monday however, was a beautiful sunny day and thousands turned out to Singleton Park to witness James jumpin over the bonnet of a Jaguar car even though the ground was still quite wet., and Ryan jumping over the same Jaguar car kindly supplied by Stratstone Jaguar, Swansea. An excellent event enjoyed by all of us at The Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show, we hope to return again one day to Swansea.

FLYIN RYAN BREAKS SCRAMBLE RECORD

FlyinRyan won The Wild N Woolly Scramble on Boxing Day for a record breaking 8th time.  A slow start saw Ryan behind the other 50 riders at the first corner of the race, however before the end of the first lap Ryan flew into the lead and was never headed again.  The river crossings proved too much for some with only 15 riders finishing this hour long event.   Most machines drowned in the waist deep water, however, with dangerous Dougs bike preparation and 'Crash' helping out around the track and in the pits Ryan completed 17 laps and won the race in style.  This 8th victory gives Ryan the record of most wins in this event breaking a 27 year old record of 7 wins set by retired club veteran Sam Smith between 1969 and 1980.

The torrential rain leading up to this event did not sdeter tyhe crowds from turning out and a great show was put on.  Flyin Ryan and Jumpin James both flew higher than any balloons due to the adverse weather conditions.CHECK OUT FLYIN RYAN VIDEOS
